Project Vietnam – 50 Years Later
The Portsmouth VFW Auxiliary is hosting a raucous 50s / 60s block party on Columbus Day, Monday October 10th at the Budweiser Facility in Merrimack from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. held outside under the tents. This project is to help us in our quest to help send 10 NH Vietnam combat veterans to the International 50th Anniversary Commemorative Event being held in Oahu, Hawaii in May of 2017. The names will be drawn lottery style at the block party.
We will also be holding a 50th Vietnam War Commemorative Pin presentation to all Vietnam combat and Vietnam era veterans on behalf of a grateful nation.
