ENTERING INFORMATION ONTO THE DEPARTMENT CALENDAR
The Department Calendar is up and running. YOU can add your own events by doing the following.Contact Tara Sue at email@example.com. She will get you a log-in name and password if you don’t have one already.Next: Log in by clicking on “Tools” then “Login to Department Site”.You’ll get the log-in screen. Enter your name and password. You’re going to get the “Dashboard” screen.Scroll down a bit and on the left you’ll see “Calendar”. Mouse over “Calendar” and you’ll see a menu that says “Manage Calendar”, etc. Click on the “Manage Calendar”.You’ll see the “Add Event” screen. Here is where you enter the information. Make the title descriptive as that is what shows in the calendar. Add the additional information under the “Event Description” box. Select under “Event Category” which district your event is under (i.e. District 1, District 2, etc.) or if it’s a National or Department Event. Enter the Date, Time then click “Save”. You event will show up on the calendar!If you have difficulties, please don’t hesitate to contact Rita McCabe at firstname.lastname@example.org.I will enter information if you really can’t make it work!Let’s use this calendar to help support our Posts/Auxiliaries within our District and within the Department!!
